Where does your weather come from?
Well, just about everywhere. But I bet you are asking where is the weather data on this site collected. We collect our data in NW Strathmore, right in the Town, under the unsuspecting noses of The Mayor and Town Council.
How often do you collect weather data?
Constantly. Unless our batteries die. Then never.
How often do you report weather data?
Constantly. We share our data with numerous weather data aggregation services. The data on this site is updated anywhere from every minute to every day, depending on the data. For example Current Temperature is updated every minute because it changes constantly, but sunset and sunrise times only update daily.
Is the weather on this site current?
Yes. The important stuff that changes such as temperature, wind, and rain on the main page update every minute. The website forces a main page refresh every 2 minutes to ensure you are seeing the latest data. Other pages are updated and automatically refreshed when being viewed based on the data they display.
What happens if my weather arrives and it wasn’t what I expected?
Well, you can ?#@?! or ?!*#??. We always recommend ????, it’s better for your soul.
What’s your return policy?
Unfortunately there are no returns or guarantees. Although we hope your favourite weather returns often, there is no way we can guarantee it.
Do you ship oversees and to P.O. boxes?
Yes, we ship the weather internationally, although it does have a tendency to change by the time it gets to its destination.
Do you have customer service?
Of course! We just don’t have customers because the weather, like this site, is free. Well, it was. Then the Government came up with the Climate (Carbon) Tax, now weather costs everyone.
What happens when the site goes down?
Absolutely nothing, literally. One would expect something but, nope. But if it happens just post it on “I Love Strathmore” or “Strathmore Community Bulletin and Chat” Fascistbook groups, someone will see it and let me know, or I’ll see it. Although there will be a delay if I’m out working the bees. But if that happens it is likely pretty nice out, and nobody really cares what the weather is or will be when it’s nice.
